Classroom Position
The school is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated classroom teachers to join our learning community in full time classroom teaching positions (Graduates are encouraged to apply).

About the Role
The successful applicants will be required to work collaboratively with others to develop and implement high quality and engaging teaching programs to cater for the diverse needs and learning styles of all children in the class.
The successful candidate will:
have a robust commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the Catholic Church
demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills and form positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues
collaboratively plan and work in a team with flexibility, creativity, passion and enthusiasm
be able to motivate and engage students in purposeful learning
have a sound understanding of current educational practice
have an ability to use data to improve student learning




integrate a range of digital learning technologies
demonstrate a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children in accordance with Child Safe standards

Special Requirements
VIT Registration or Provisional Registration to Teach (or in the process of obtaining it)
Accredited to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School or a willingness to obtain the necessary qualifications

St. John Vianney's has a student population of 187 students in nine classes for **** (203 students in ****), consisting of 2 Prep classes, 3 x Year 1/2 classes, 2 x Year 3/4 classes and 2 x Year 5/6 classes. We have subject teachers in Phys Ed, Visual Arts, Performing Arts, Library, Japanese and E-Learning as well as intervention and support teachers in Literacy and Numeracy. Our school has a very supportive parent and parish community.
