Catholic Education, Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified teacher to take on a temporary part-time position of Inclusive and Diverse Learning Coordinator.

Your New Role
As an accomplished educator in the Catholic school, the Inclusion and Diverse Learning Coordinator (IDL) models faith in action, supporting the school community to develop a shared vision that focuses on the provision of a high quality Catholic education for all students.

Salary is based on NESA Accreditation and Teaching Service, plus a Coordinator 1 Allowance of $3,****** per annum (pro-rata equivalent of $10,072 per annum FTE)
Essential Criteria
Ability to:
Effectively work as part of a team within an educational setting.
Organise work priorities in line with the school and CEDWW's vision and strategic plan.
Establish positive relationships with parents and with other staff members.
Qualifications Licences and CompetenciesDemonstrated understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education
Bachelor of Education (Desirable qualifications in Special Education or Inclusive Education)
Classroom teaching experience (min 3 years)
Current NESA registration
Current NSW Working with Children Check
Successful candidate to undergo a National Criminal Police History Check
Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CategoryB), or willing to achieve Accreditation.
Skills and ExperienceUnderstanding of the use of data to inform coordinator practice and student learning improvement.
Demonstrate current knowledge of legislation and practices in regard to students with learning difficulties, disabilities and learning support needs through updated knowledge of:Children and Young Persons (Care andProtection) Act, ****
United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, ****
Disability Discrimination Act, ****
Disability Standards for Education, ****
AliceSprings (Mparntwe) Education Declaration, ****
