About ROAR
ROAR MMA Fitness is a boutique training space in Sippy Downs bringing together Muay Thai, mindfulness, MMA and trauma-informed coaching under one roof for women. We're looking for a coach who can deliver and facilitate our group program, and abide by the values and principles of practice while staying within scope.
We welcome all skill levels and pride ourselves on a safe culture where everyone trains hard and looks after each other. We take a holistic approach to practice, making sure every woman is met with a high level of personal and collective training in both body and mind.
The role
We're looking for an MMA Coach to lead classes and help shape our program.
You'll:
Coach up to 8 women at a time with the aim of increasing both their physical and mental fitness,
and their connection to themselves.
Run sparring and drilling sessions with a strong focus on safety and control.
Help members set goals, stay motivated and feel part of the ROAR community.
About you
Experience instructing groups through MMA exercises and the use of weights.
Able to create a safe, trauma-informed space for others.
Can adapt your coaching to different levels and mindsets.
