The Role:
Our
News Travels store
offers a range of newspapers, magazines, latest release books, travel essentials and snacks for your trip.
From the iconic brands of LEGO, JBL and Apple to an area dedicated to a wide range of gifts, apparel, souvenirs and locally sourced produce, stop into
News Travels
before your flight.
We're looking for
Casual Retail Assistants
to join our team at
Newcastle Airport
.
If you love customer service, fast-paced environments, and making shopping fun, this is your chance to shine!
*Good availability between 4:45AM to 9:30PM with either morning or night shifts on offer (Week days and weekends)
*Flexibility across the 7 days desirable ✅
*Physically fit, some lifting required!
What You'll Do:
✅ Deliver outstanding customer service & expert product recommendations
✅ Stay ahead of trends with ongoing professional training
✅ Keep the store looking vibrant & well-stocked
✅ Process transactions smoothly & efficiently
✅ Assist customers with queries in a friendly, professional manner
What We're Looking For:
✅ Passion for customer service & sales
✅
Valid RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) Certificate
✅ Confident communicator with a positive attitude
✅ Well-groomed & professionally presented




✅ Some retail/hospitality experience
✅ Flexible availability (early mornings, nights, weekends & holidays)
✅ Valid working rights & ability to obtain an Aviation Security ID Card
