We're currently partnering with a well-established regional referral hospital in Victoria to support the appointment of a Consultant Psychiatrist.

The Opportunity
You'll be joining a relatively compact but highly capable Mental Health & Wellbeing Service supporting a regional population of approximately 70,000 across a large catchment area.
The structure allows for:
Abroad and meaningful clinical scopeacross inpatient and community settings
Close collaboration withconsultation-liaison and inpatient psychiatry teams
Direct engagement with an experiencedClinical Director and multidisciplinary team
Opportunities formentorship, making it particularly appealing for newer Fellows

The Hospital
The service sits within a major regional health provider with:
Approximately175+ beds
A workforce of over1,000 staffdelivering care across the region
Strong links with Monash University and La Trobe University for teaching and training
Mental health services include:
Acute inpatient care

Consultation-liaison psychiatry

Who We're Looking For
Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (or eligibility)
Doctors assessed by RAZCP deemed substantially or partially comparable encouraged to apply
Current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
Strong commitment to patient-centred care
Experience or interest incommunity, crisis, or outreach psychiatryhighly regarded
