About the Role
n
This is a hands-on nursing role where you'll have the opportunity to fully utilise your skills across all aspects of general practice nursing.
n
Position Details
n
n
Part-time role
n
Approximately 19 hours per week min (ideally Wednesday & Fridays)
n
2 x 9.5-hour shifts per week
n
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Assisting veterinarians during consultations and procedures
n
Surgical preparation and theatre assistance
n




Anaesthetic monitoring and patient recovery
n
Pre-operative and post-operative patient care
n
Administering medications and treatments
n
Collecting and processing pathology samples
n
Dental procedures and radiography assistance
n
Emergency and critical care nursing when required
n
Maintaining high standards of infection control and clinic cleanliness
n
Monitoring hospitalised patients and ensuring their comfort and wellbeing
n
Providing exceptional client communication and education
n
Supporting reception and front-of-house duties when needed
n
Assisting with stock management and day-to-day clinic operations
n
n
No two days are ever the same, making this a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who enjoys variety and staying busy.

About You
n
We're looking for someone who is:
n
n
Certificate IV qualified in Veterinary Nursing
n
Ideally has 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, however we would also love to hear from confident recent graduates who are eager to learn and develop their skills
n
Passionate about animal care and patient advocacy
n
Organised, reliable, and accountable
n
Able to multitask and prioritise effectively in a busy environment
n
A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills
n
Confident building rapport with clients and supporting them through their pet's healthcare journey
n
A positive team player who enjoys contributing to a collaborative culture
n
n
Most importantly, you'll be someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team, brings a positive attitude to work each day,



and takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care.
