Hanrahan Health are excited to announce that we are expanding the range of supports we provide to our clients by adding positive behaviour support!
n
We are looking for an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners of
all experience and suitability levels
in
Bowral
. Whether you are
just starting
your Behaviour Support career or have suitability levels
Core, Proficient or Advanced
, we want to hear from you!
n
On a daily basis you will be:
n
n
Assisting NDIS participants, along with their families and/or carers, to identify their needs through assessment and person-centred planning
n
Evaluating, developing and delivering evidence-based support plans within a complex support space
n
Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies utilising a positive behaviour support framework, and with a commitment to eliminate restrictive practices, in the home and community
n
Ensuring individual plans reflect our NDIS participants' goals, passions and strengths
n
Building the knowledge,
capacity and strengths of those who support participants in their lives - family, carers, friends, etc
n
Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including mentoring less experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners.

Qualifications
n
About you
n
n
n
Proven experience supporting people with disabilities within the NDIS, including complex and challenging behaviours
n
n
Qualifications as a Behaviour Support Practitioner or relevant disability sector experience, supported by a Degree or Diploma
n
n
Solid report writing, time management, and organisational skills
n
n
A proactive, solution-focused mindset with excellent people skills and a passion for supporting individuals with complex needs
n
Hold a valid drivers licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle
n
n
