Job Description

Part or Full time ********** FTE) position
n
Based in the Maryborough, Hervey Bay or Gympie region, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements
n
$***** - $***** per hour + 12% super + salary packaging up to $18,550 per year (based on qualifications and experience)
n

The Youth Enhanced Services (YES) program supports young people aged ***** experiencing severe and complex mental health challenges. Delivered through the CCQ Mental Health AOD Hubs, the program offers multidisciplinary care, therapeutic interventions, and community connection to help young people thrive.
n
Your role, your impact
n
As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you'll lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based therapy to young people, while mentoring junior clinicians and contributing to service development. You'll work closely with families, schools, and local services to create coordinated care plans that make a real difference in young lives. You will work from home, see clients in the community, work from headspace office, or work from one of our hubs.

What you'll be doing
n
n
Lead and deliver
specialist counselling using CBT, DBT, ACT and other modalities
n
Support and mentor
junior clinicians to maintain high service standards
n
Collaborate
with local stakeholders to ensure integrated care
n
Document
clinical work accurately and meet service targets
n
Participate
in supervision, team meetings, and referral pathway development
n
n
Who we're looking for
n
n
Experience in individual therapy with adolescents
n
Understanding of trauma, youth mental health, and recovery principles
n
Experience in delivering evidence based therapies including CBT, DBT and ACT
n
Qualifications
n
n
A minimum Bachelor qualification in Counselling, Social Work (or Master of Social Work), Occupational Therapy or Nursing with a Mental Health specialisation
n
Current registration with a professional body
n
