We are currently expanding our network of experienced Australian energy market professionals to support several strategic initiatives across energy trading, market operations, integration and transformation programmes.
Role Overview
n
We are seeking experienced consultants with strong exposure to the Australian National Electricity Market (NEM), energy trading operations and market systems environments.
n
The role will involve supporting a combination of:
n
n
Energy market operating model initiatives
n
Trading and risk transformation programmes
n
ETRM/market systems implementation and optimisation
n
Market operations and settlements
n
Integration and reporting workstreams
n
Data and analytics initiatives
n
Business process and operational readiness activities
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Support design and optimisation of energy trading and market operations processes
n
Work closely with trading, risk, operations and technology stakeholders
n
Assist with integration of market systems, ETRM platforms and enterprise applications
n
Support operational readiness, testing and market transition activities
n
Contribute to reporting, reconciliation and risk visibility initiatives
n
Participate in architecture, process and data discussions across front-to-back energy trading workflows
n
Provide SME input into Australian energy market processes and regulatory considerations
n
Desired Experience

Strong understanding of the Australian NEM workplace
n
Experience supporting physical energy market participants
n
Exposure to:

Generation portfolios
n
Large industrial loads / consumption portfolios
n
Renewable energy portfolios
n
Retail or wholesale energy operations
n
n
Experience with energy trading and risk processes
n
Familiarity with market settlements, forecasting and operational workflows
n
Exposure to ETRM or energy market systems environments
