Part-Time Veterinary Nurse – Greencross Tweed Heads

Greencross Vets Tweed Heads is seeking an experienced Veterinary Nurse to join our close-knit team on a part-time basis (approximately 28.5 hours per week).

Clinic Hours
n
Monday–Friday:
8:00am – 6:00pm
Saturday:
8:00am – 5:00pm
Sunday:
Closed (yay for Sundays off!) closed public holidays

About the Role
n
This is a diverse and hands-on nursing role where you'll be involved across all areas of the clinic.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Supporting front-of-house client care and communication
n
Assisting with consultations and team-based patient care
n
IV catheter placement, blood collection, and diagnostic testing
n
Assisting with pathology procedures
n
Surgical and inpatient care, including anaesthetic monitoring
n
Maintaining clinic hygiene and preparing equipment
n
Supporting scheduling and client bookings (RX Works ideal but not essential)
n
Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior nurses and students
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for someone who brings:
n
n
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
n




Minimum 2–3 years' clinical experience
n
Strong clinical skills across surgical, hospital, and consult nursing
n
Confidence working both independently and within a team
n
Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
A proactive, positive attitude with strong time management
n
A willingness to mentor and support others
n
A good sense of humour and team-first mindset
n
