The Role and Responsibilities
n
Integrity Management is seeking an experienced NACE / AMPP Level 2 Coatings Inspector to join our team and support current Defence maritime sustainment projects.
n
This role will involve providing third-party coatings inspection support, including surface preparation inspections, coating inspections, DFT measurements, documentation review, reporting, and coordination with project stakeholders.
n
Ideally, the successful candidate will reside in the region and be available to work Monday to Friday, with flexibility to work weekends as required.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n
n
Liaise with supervisors, crews, contractors, and client representatives.
n
Conduct surface preparation inspections.
n
Conduct coating application inspections.
n
Conduct DFT measurements and coating inspections.
n
Review and interpret specifications, ITPs, product Technical Data Sheets and project documentation.
n
Identify and report coating quality issues.
n
Prepare inspection reports and associated documentation.
n
Maintain accurate filing, archiving, and inspection records.
n
Participate in quality, safety, and OQE audits.
n
Maintain inspection equipment and equipment registers.
n
Support suitable project outcomes through effective communication with multiple stakeholders.
n
Demonstrate a strong focus on specifications, standards, safety, and quality requirements.
n
Defence or naval asset experience is desirable.
n
Australian citizenship is preferred.

Requirements
n
You will have the following qualifications, experience and certifications:
n
n
Current NACE Level 2 / AMPP CIP Level 2 accreditation.
n
Minimum 3 years' relevant coatings inspection experience.
n
Defence experience preferred.
n
Confined Space Entry certification.
n
Working Safely at Heights certification.
n
White Card.
n
Current driver's licence.
n
Good understanding of specifications, ITPs and product Technical Data Sheets.
n
Good computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and email correspondence.
n
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
n
Ability to liaise professionally with multiple contractors and stakeholders.
n
Must hold an Australian resident visa as a minimum requirement; Australian citizenship is preferred.
n
National Police Clearance within 30 days.
n
Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.
