Job Description
n
As a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing support to participants, carers and families int he followign ways.
n
You'll be doing things like:
n ✨
Evaluating, developing & delivering evidence-based support plans
n ✨ Creating meaningful goals using a positive behaviour support framework
n ✨ Building capacity in the people who support our participants, families, carers, friends, support workers
n ✨ Working alongside a brilliant multidisciplinary team
n ✨ Championing the reduction (and elimination!) of restrictive practices
n
And, because we like to keep it real:
n This is NOT a stepping stone to becoming a psychologist.
n It's a meaningful, legitimate, highly skilled career all on its own.

About You
n
You'll thrive with us if you:
n ✔ Have a degree in OT, Speech Pathology, Psychology, Social Work or similar
n ✔ Live within a 20 minute radius of either Melton
n ✔ Have experience reading or creating,



implementing or reviewing behaviour support plans
n ✔ Have a genuine passion for disability support
n ✔ Have experience working with challenging behaviours
n ✔ Love working with humans AND are competent with writing reprots (Yes, there will be paperwork)
