The Position...
n
With the recent growth in their business, they are currently seeking a Fabrication Apprentice to join the team in their engineering facility.This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to pursue a career in the fabrication industry, with a diversity of projects and skills.
n
Key responsibilities include:
n

n
Plate fabrication
n
n
Sheet metal fabrication
n
n
Working with stainless steel, aluminium, and mild steel products
n
n
Body building
n
n
Maintaining and adhering to health & safety in the workplace
n
n
Ensuring a clean and safe work environment
n
n
n
nThe normal business hours of operation are as follows:n
n6am to 5pm Monday to Thursday;n
n6am to 3pm Friday to Saturday. n
n
n
nYour hours of work would include: n
n
n
n
Normal day shift hours - 10.5 hours Monday to Thursday; 6 hours Friday
n
n
Normal night shift hours - 11 hours Monday to Thursday (possibly required after 2nd year)
n
n
Over time when required
n
n
n
n
The Ideal Candidate...

The ideal candidate will have the following:

Genuine interest in pursuing a career in the fabrication industry
n
n
Valid Australian C Class drivers' license or reliable transport
n
n
Full Australian work rights
n
n
National police clearance (or willingness to obtain)
n
n
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
n
n
Strong commitment to safety and quality
n
n
Motivated, hard-working and a positive attitude
n
n
Ability to work well in a team
n
n
Current High-Risk-License – Forklift (preferred, but not essential
n
n
