About the role n
We are offering a consistent
5-day per week position
responsible for the end-of-day or shift deep-clean of our production facilities, kitchen equipment, retail area, and staff spaces.
n
This is a hands-on cleaning position suited to someone with proven professional cleaning experience, strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently without compromising standards.
Key Responsibilities n

Deep cleaning and sanitising bakery equipment, benches, ovens, floors, and food preparation areas.
n
n
Dishwashing,



cleaning trays, racks, mixing bowls, and specialized baking utensils.
n
n
Waste management, recycling disposal, and deep floor cleaning (sweeping, scrubbing, mopping).
n
n
Ensuring complete compliance with local council health regulations and food safety standards.
n
n
Maintaining inventory stock levels of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.
n
About You n

Proven Experience:
Prior commercial cleaning experience—ideally within a bakery, commercial kitchen, hospitality venue, or food production facility is essential.

Attention to Detail:
Meticulous standards when it comes to grease, flour dust, sanitisation, and food hygiene requirements.
n
n
Reliable & Self-Motivated:
Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a close-knit team.
n

Physical Fitness:
Comfortable with active physical work (lifting, scrubbing, bending, standing for extended periods).
n
n
Location:
Based in or near Port Macquarie with reliable transport.
