n HammondCare pastoral care volunteers have an chance to support the spiritual and emotional needs of elderly clients living in their home.n
n As a pastoral care volunteer, you'll be actively involved with a local Christian church, offering comfort, presence, and hope to those who need it most.n
n Can you offer a listening ear and a prayerful heart to someone longing to be heard?n
n You'll supplement and complement the work of our HammondCare At Home Pastoral Care Coordinator, and under their direction you may:n
n * Support people to meet their spiritual needsn
n * Nurture spiritual developmentn
n You'll find that as a pastoral care volunteer you'll nurture your own spiritual life.n

HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

Requirements
n
n 18 years or older • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare • n
n One hour each week for 6 months or longer. We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time of the week between Monday to Friday, 9am-4pm.n
