Audio Visual Technician - Embedded
to join our team in

delivering top-tier AV solutions and support.

The Audio Visual (AV) Technician is responsible for the onsite support, operation, and maintenance of Audio Visual systems within a dedicated client environment. This role is embedded at a single client site, providing hands-on technical support to ensure seamless operation of meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and event technologies.

Requirements

What you'll do:
n
n
Provide daily onsite support for AV systems across meeting rooms, boardrooms, and event spaces.
n
Diagnose and resolve AV issues including audio, video, conferencing, control systems, and connectivity faults.
n
Deliver rapid response support for live meetings and critical business events.
n
Perform daily room checks, preventative maintenance, firmware updates, and system health monitoring.
n
Support and maintain AV technologies including Crestron, QSC, AMX, Cisco Webex, and Cisco room systems.
n
Troubleshoot integrated AV environments including signal flow, switching, and control interfaces.
n
Support AV hardware including displays, projectors, microphones, speakers, cameras, and touch panels.
n
Provide white-glove support for executive meetings, town halls, presentations, and large-scale events.
n
Assist users with meeting setup, device connectivity, content sharing, and hybrid collaboration.
n
Deliver end-user support, guidance,



and informal training on AV and collaboration technologies.
n
Maintain AV documentation, standards, and asset registers while recommending system improvements and optimisation opportunities.
n

What you'll bring:
n
n
Experience supporting enterprise AV environments onsite.
n
n
n
Hands-on experience with Crestron, QSC, or AMX systems.
n
n
n
Experience with Cisco Webex and Cisco collaboration devices.
n
n
n
Strong troubleshooting skills across AV signal flow, audio, and video systems.
n
n
n
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
n
n
n
Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.
n
n
n
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to IT and non-IT stakeholders.
n
n
n
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines.
n
n
n
Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt to a rapidly changing business environment to prioritise accordingly.
n
n
n
Strong interpersonal skills, intellectual rigour and curiosity, and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
