We are recruiting on behalf of an established Western Australian not-for-profit organisation for an experienced
Finance Manager
to lead a small finance team and take ownership across reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and compliance.

This is a broad, hands-on opportunity working closely with an experienced CFO and senior operational stakeholders across the organisation.

About the Role:
n
n
Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will oversee the day-to-day finance function while providing financial insight and support to senior and program managers.
n
n
You will take ownership of budgeting, cash flow forecasting, monthly reporting, financial analysis and acquittals, while also supporting project costing and financial modelling for organisational initiatives and government tenders.
n
n
The position also has responsibility for audit, risk, investment, internal controls and finance process improvement.
n
Key Responsibilities:
n
n
n
n
Lead and support a small finance team.
n
n
Prepare budgets, forecasts and cash flow models.
n
n
Deliver timely monthly financial and management reporting.
n
n
Undertake financial modelling, analysis and project costing.
n
n
Support financial modelling for government tenders and funding opportunities.
n
n
Prepare financial acquittals and stakeholder reporting.
n
n
Coordinate external audit and regulatory requirements.
n
n
Oversee payroll audits, invoice approvals and financial controls.
n
n
Prepare reporting for Board and Finance Committee stakeholders.
n
n
Partner with senior and program managers to improve financial understanding.
n
n
Develop and improve finance procedures, processes and internal controls.
n
n
Support risk management, insurance and investment activities.
n
n
n

We are seeking an experienced finance skilled with:
n
n
n
n
Strong Finance Manager / Financial Controller experience.
n
n
Excellent budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting capability.
n
n
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
n
n
Proven experience managing and developing finance staff.
n
n
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
n
n
Experience across audit, compliance and internal controls.
n
n
A practical, hands-on approach to finance.
n
n
CPA/CA qualification highly regarded.
n
n
Not-for-profit, community services, aged care or government-funded sector experience highly regarded.
n
n
TechnologyOne / CiA experience advantageous, although strong ERP adaptability will also be considered.
n
n
n
