Dental Assistant / Receptionist
to join our team at our beautiful Geelong practice.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Dental Assistant who wants to join a professional and supportive team, while also developing their skills across different areas of the practice.
About the role n
Your primary responsibility will be
dental assisting
, supporting our clinicians in delivering exceptional patient care.
n
You will work alongside experienced dentists and oral health therapists and a supportive team in a modern cosmetic and general dental environment.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Chairside dental assisting across general and cosmetic procedures
n
Preparing treatment rooms and ensuring instruments and equipment are ready
n
Maintaining high standards of sterilisation and infection control
n
Preparing rooms between patients and maintaining a high standard of presentation
n
Assisting with clinical stock management
n
Supporting a smooth and positive patient experience
n
Working collaboratively with the wider practice team
n
Assisting with record collection, reception and patient administration as required
n
n
As you become familiar with the practice, there will also be opportunities to develop your skills across
reception, patient administration and extending into treatment coordination when required
.
n
You do not need to be an experienced all-rounder to apply. If you are a solid Dental Assistant who is willing to learn,
training and support will be provided to help you develop additional skills across the practice.
About you n
We are looking for someone who:
n
n
Has previous experience as a
Dental Assistant
n
Ideally has
1-2+ years' experience
in a dental practice, although we will consider the right candidate based on attitude and experience
n
Is warm, friendly and professional with patients
n
Takes pride in their clinical work and presentation
n
Has excellent attention to detail
n
Is organised and reliable
n
Works well as part of a team
n
Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
n
Has a positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
n
Is passionate about providing an excellent patient experience
n
Reception, administration or treatment coordination experience is highly regarded, but is not essential. Training will be provided to the successful applicant.
