As a Picker Loader / Forklift Operator within the Distribution team, you will play an important role in ensuring customer orders are accurately picked, handled, and dispatched safely and on time. This is a day shift position working from 7:00am, with full-time hours available.

Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Operating forklifts safely and efficiently within the distribution area
n
Picking, scanning, and preparing customer orders for dispatch
n
Loading and unloading trucks in accordance with site procedures
n
Handling raw chicken products and maintaining product quality standards
n
Working in chilled and cold storage environments
n




Conducting pre-start forklift inspections and reporting any issues
n
Ensuring stock is stored, rotated, and managed correctly
n
Maintaining accurate inventory and dispatch records
n
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area
n
Following all food safety, quality, and WHS requirements
n
Assisting with general warehouse and distribution duties as required
n
About You n
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
n
n
Current and valid LF Forklift Licence
n
Previous experience operating a forklift in a warehouse or distribution workplace
n
Ability to perform manual handling tasks and work with raw poultry products
n
Comfortable working in a cold environment
n
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking orders
n
Good communication and teamwork skills
n
Commitment to workplace safety and following procedures
n
Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
n
Flexibility to work overtime when required
n
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet daily operational targets
n
