DWS is seeking a
Data Modeller
to support a major enterprise system replacement within a large enterprise setting. This role will play a key part in delivering high-quality data models, data migration outcomes, and business-ready reporting across a complex, data-intensive platformn

Key responsibilities and requirements include:
n
n
n
Designing and maintaining conceptual, logical and physical data models for transactional and analytical systems
n
Very strong capability in dimensional modelling (Kimball) and Data Vault methodologies
n
Advanced SQL Server expertise including T-SQL development, performance tuning, stored procedures, views and indexing
n
Substantial experience across the Microsoft SQL Server stack (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
n
Hands-on experience with Azure data platforms including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake
n
Data profiling and data quality assessment using automated tools and custom SQL
n
Designing and delivering data migration strategies, ETL processes and source-to-target mappings
n
Validating migrated data for completeness and accuracy
n
Developing reports,



dashboards and datasets using Power BI and the Power Platform
n
Producing data artefacts including data dictionaries, data flows, specifications and handover documentation
n
Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
n
