n the Role:

We are
n seeking a highly motivated and skilled Workday Finance professional to join our
n team. In this role, you will be instrumental in leveraging the Workday
n Financial Management system to drive efficient and accurate financial
n operations. You will collaborate closely with finance, accounting, IT, and
n other cross -functional teams to optimize our Workday financial solutions,
n ensure data integrity, and provide actionable financial insights.
n

Key
n Responsibilities:
n
n
·
Workday System Administration & Configuration:
n
n
o Manage, configure, and maintain Workday Financial
n Management modules (eg., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,
n Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Business Assets, Capital Projects, Procurement,
n Expenses, Projects, Adaptive Planning, Accounting Center, Prism, Advanced Close
n and Consolidation).
n
n
o Design, build, and test Workday configurations,
n business processes, calculated fields, and conditional routing to meet evolving
n business needs.
n
n
o Analyze bi -annual Workday release notes, understand
n their impact on existing configurations, and
recommend/implement
new
n functionalities.
n
n
o Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause
n analysis, and escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate teams (e.g.,
n Workday Support, IT).
n
n
·
Financial Process Optimization & Support:
n
n
o Provide end -user support for Workday Finance modules,
n assisting with inquiries, requests, and training.
n
n
o Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather
n business requirements, analyze existing processes, and translate them into
n functional specifications for system enhancements.
n
n
o Identify opportunities for process improvements,
n streamlining workflows, and automating manual tasks within Workday.




n
n
o Conduct testing of configurations, develop functional
n test plans, and coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT).
n
n
o Create and maintain training materials and documentation
n to ensure effective utilization of Workday functionalities.
n
n
·
Reporting, Analytics & Data Integrity:
n
n
o Develop and maintain custom financial reports,
n dashboards, and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) within Workday to provide
n timely and accurate financial information to management and stakeholders.
n
n
o Conduct financial data analysis (e.g., revenue,
n expenses, budgets, forecasts) to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and
n provide data -driven insights to support decision -making.
n
n
o Assist in conducting data audits and implementing data
n quality measures to maintain the integrity of financial data elements (e.g.,
n chart of accounts, vendor information, customer information, fixed assets).
n
n
o Collaborate with IT to ensure effective alignment of
n systems with business requirements and compliance with regulatory requirements,
n accounting standards, and internal controls.
n
n
·
Project Management & Collaboration (for
n Consultant/Lead roles):
n
n
o Participate in Workday implementation and enhancement
n projects, providing financial expertise, requirements gathering, testing, and
n go -live support.
n
n
o Lead or co -lead design sessions and configuration
n decisions, guiding clients through Workday best practices.
n
n




o Collaborate with cross -functional teams (e.g., HR, IT
n Security, Risk Management, Integrations) to ensure seamless integration and
n functionality across Workday modules and other enterprise systems.
n
n
o Manage project scope, client expectations, and
n contribute to project planning and delivery.
n
n
o Mentor and provide guidance to junior team members.
n
n

n
n
Qualifications:
n
n
· Bachelor's
n degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
n Master's degree or CPA preferred.
n
n
· (5+) years of experience with Workday Financial
n Management, including hands -on configuration and support.
n
n
· Strong understanding of financial processes,
n accounting principles, and financial management practices (e.g.,
n Procure -to -Pay, Order -to -Cash, Record -to -Report, General Ledger, Budgeting).
n
n
· Proven ability to manage and optimize ERP systems,
n specifically Workday.
n
n
· Workday Financials certification (e.g., Record to
n Report, Procure to Pay, Strategic Sourcing, Customer Contracts, Projects)
n highly desired.
n
n
· Proficiency in financial data analysis and the ability
n to interpret complex financial data to generate meaningful insights.
n
n
· Excellent problem -solving skills, attention to detail,
n and a commitment to data accuracy.
n
n
· Strong communication (verbal and written) and
n interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross -functional teams and
n explain complex financial concepts to non -financial stakeholders.
n
n
· Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work
n effectively in a quick -paced, dynamic environment.
n
n
· Experience with Agile or Waterfall project
n methodologies (for Lead/Consultant roles).
n
n
· Knowledge of Workday Security is a plus.
n
