Metroll Lismore is seeking a detail-oriented and organised Stock Control & Inventory Coordinator to join our operations team.
n
Metroll is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of roofing, cladding, rainwater, and steel building products. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production, and ensuring our customers receive the right products on time.
n
About the Role
n
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing inventory accuracy across the site, coordinating stocktakes, investigating discrepancies, and supporting the smooth flow of materials throughout the business.
n
Working closely with production, purchasing, warehouse, and dispatch teams, you'll ensure inventory records remain accurate and reliable while identifying opportunities to improve stock control processes.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records
n
Plan and coordinate scheduled and cyclical stocktakes
n
Investigate stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions
n
Reconcile inventory movements within the ERP system
n
Monitor stock levels and work with purchasing to maintain appropriate inventory
n
Ensure raw materials and finished goods are accurately receipted and recorded
n
Support production and warehouse teams with inventory enquiries
n
Analyse inventory data and prepare stock control reports
n
Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and warehouse processes
n
Ensure compliance with company procedures and inventory control standards
n
Assist with month-end and year-end stock reconciliations
n
Maintain a safe, organised,
and efficient warehouse environment
n

About You
n
You're highly organised, analytical, and enjoy working with data while staying connected to day-to-day operations.
n
You'll bring:
n
n
Previous experience in stock control, inventory management, warehouse administration, or a similar role
n
Experience coordinating stocktakes and inventory reconciliations
n
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical accuracy
n
Experience using ERP or inventory management systems
n
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
n
Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
n
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departments
n
A proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement
n
Experience within manufacturing, steel, building products, or industrial environments will be highly regarded
n
