Senior BASE24-eps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced
Senior BASE24-eps Engineer
with a minimum of
5+ years' hands-on ACI BASE24-eps experience
to work within a high-volume banking and payments environment.
n
n
You will support, troubleshoot and maintain a business-critical BASE24-eps environment while also developing, customising and enhancing payment functionality.
n
n
Key responsibilities:
n
n
n
n
Provide hands-on
L2/L3 production support
for BASE24-eps
n
n
Investigate and resolve payment transaction failures and production incidents
n
n
Perform
Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
and implement permanent fixes
n
n
Develop, customise, configure and enhance
BASE24-eps
n
n
Support
ATM, POS, EFT and card payment processing
n
n
Troubleshoot
authorisation, routing, switching, settlement and reconciliation
n
n
Support interfaces with
Visa, Mastercard, payment networks and host banking systems
n
n
Monitor system health, performance and transaction processing
n
n
Support releases, deployments, upgrades and payment scheme changes
n
n




Participate in testing and implementation of BASE24-eps enhancements
n
n
Support high availability, DR and failover activities
n
n
Work within a
24x7 production support environment
n
n
Work closely with development, infrastructure, QA and payments teams
n
n
n
n
What we're looking for:

Minimum
5+ years' hands-on BASE24-eps experience
n
n
Solid BASE24-eps
production support
experience
n
n
Hands-on BASE24-eps
development/customization
experience
n
n
Strong knowledge of
payment switching and card transaction processing
n
n
Experience with
ATM/POS acquiring and EFT
n
n
Understanding of the
end-to-end card transaction lifecycle
n
n
Experience troubleshooting high-volume payment environments
n
n
Strong Incident, Problem and Change Management experience
n
n
Banking or Financial Services experience
n
n
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
n
n
n
n
