About the role:
As a First Aid Responder with RFDS Victoria, your workplace is wherever the community gathers.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver first aid confidently and professionally
Communicate effectively with patients, event staff, and emergency services
Escalate care appropriately when patients are out of scope
Maintain equipment and adhere to safety protocols




Participate in ongoing training and competency updates
Qualifications and Requirements for the role
Certificate IV in Health Care (HLT*****)
Diploma of Emergency Health Care (HLT*****)
Diploma of Nursing (HLT*****) or equivalent
Be able to drive in both city and country traffic conditions
Be compassionate, professional, and dedicated to providing excellent service
Be based in the Grampians Area, Horsham or Stawell
Vaccinations required
Hepatitis B- History of 3 x vaccinations + Serology report
Varicella (Chicken Pox)
Measles, Mumps and Rubella
Diphtheria, Tetanus and Pertussis (Whooping Cough)
Annual Influenza
All applicants must undergo a driver history and demerit point check, at compliance stage.
To be successful, you must not have repeated driving offences within the last three years.
In addition, all positions are subject to a National Police Check and require holding a valid Working with Children Check.
