Hawthorn Vet is looking for our next
Vet Nurse superstar
to join our team.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
Minimum 2 years' hands-on clinic experience
Strong clinical and surgical nursing skills, including:
Blood collection, IV catheter placement, intubation, anaesthetic monitoring
In-house lab processing (bloods, urinalysis, cytology)
Nurse consults (nail clips, anal glands, triage, first aid, history taking)

Robust communication with both colleagues and management
A team-oriented mindset—we work together to get the job done and ensure everyone gets home on time

What We Offer
Work-Life Balance
Weekdays: 8:00am – 6:30pm
Saturdays: 8:00am – 1:00pm (on a rotation)
Closed Sundays & public holidays
No after-hours (we refer emergencies)
Supportive & Experienced Team
3 vets and 6 nurses
2–3 vets and 4–5 nurses rostered daily
Head Vet with 20 years' experience
