We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team at HammondCare Cardiff, our specialised purpose-built dementia-specific residential care home.

Working within a homelike environment, you will support the delivery of relationship-based, person-centred care that values each resident as an individual.
What will I be doing?
Working in a part-time clinical role, mentoring, leading and supporting a team of Specialised Dementia Carers.
Partnering with fellow clinical leaders to ensure high-quality resident care and positive team outcomes.
Providing clinical assessments and contributing to care planning to support the changing needs of residents.
Supporting clinical decision-making and providing professional nursing oversight.
Implementing and promoting comfort-focused care approaches.
Building meaningful relationships with residents in line with HammondCare's unique Model of Care.
Championing best practice dementia care and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What do I need to be successful?
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
Ideally 2 to 3 years' experience within an Aged Care setting.
A passion for improving the quality of life of older people living with dementia.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team while also demonstrating initiative and independence.
Patience, empathy and a commitment to person-centred care.
