About the Role
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you'll take a leading role across the design and delivery of a variety of structural projects, working closely with clients, architects, builders and other consultants.
The project portfolio is predominantly concrete structures, including:
Multi-level residential developments
Commercial projects
Education
Aged care
Retail
The role will involve:
Leading structural design and analysis from concept through to completion
Preparing detailed designs, documentation, reports and specifications
Providing practical and economical solutions to complex engineering challenges
Managing multiple projects across varying sizes and levels of complexity
Working directly with clients and project stakeholders
Coordinating with architects, builders and services engineers
Providing technical support and troubleshooting during construction
Managing project scope, timeframes, costs, resourcing and invoicing
Ensuring designs meet Australian Standards, relevant codes and client requirements
About You
You'll be an experienced Structural Engineer with ideally with a strong background in concrete structures.
We're looking for someone who has:
A relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering
Strong structural design and analysis experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Good client management and relationship-building skills
The ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities
A practical understanding of project scope, cost and delivery requirements
Experience with Space Gass, RAM Concept and/or RAPT would be highly regarded.
