Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant | Residential Aged Care | VMCH Providence
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Leisure & Lifestyle Assistant to join our Residential Aged Care team.
In this rewarding role, you will support residents to engage in meaningful activities that enhance their wellbeing, independence and quality of life.
Working closely with the Leisure & Lifestyle Coordinator, you will help deliver activities that reflect each resident's individual interests, abilities, cultural background and care needs.

Key Responsibilities
Support residents to participate in a range of meaningful leisure and lifestyle activities.
Assist with planning, organising and facilitating individual and group activities.
Encourage social engagement, wellbeing and healthy lifestyle practices.
Support residents living with dementia through activities that maintain independence and familiar routines.
Complete accurate documentation and maintain resident confidentiality.
Communicate respectfully with residents, families, volunteers and team members.
Contribute to a positive, secure and inclusive environment.
What's Required
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Current First Aid Certificate.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A caring, patient and compassionate approach.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing), Aged Care
Experience in aged care is desirable
Commitment to maintaining resident dignity, choice and privacy.
Availability to work Monday and Tuesday **** to ****hrs
