About the team
The Organisational Development Team plays a key role in shaping Kingston Council's culture, capability and employee experience.
We lead initiatives that strengthen workforce culture, inclusion, wellbeing, engagement and learning to help create a workplace where people feel connected, supported and able to do their best work.
As part of the People & Culture Department, the team partners across Council to deliver programs, projects and initiatives that support our people and contribute to achieving Council's strategic objectives.
This role sits within our Culture & Inclusion function and supports a broad range of meaningful work that makes a real difference to employees across the organisation
About this opportunity
We are looking for a Culture & Inclusion Officer to job-share within our team.
In this role, you will provide high-level administrative and project support across a variety of culture, inclusion, wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives.
You will play an important role in supporting Council's obligations under the Gender Equality Act, coordinating employee programs and events, analysing workforce data and helping deliver initiatives that foster an inclusive and positive workplace culture.
What you'll deliver
Support the implementation of culture, inclusion, wellbeing and employee engagement initiatives across Council.
Coordinate the reporting and administrative requirements associated with the Gender Equality Act, including workforce data collection and reporting.
Deliver surveys, workshops, events, employee celebrations and engagement activities, including logistics, communication and coordination.
Prepare reports, analyse workforce data and develop communications and resources that support organisational culture and inclusion outcomes.
Lead and support employee networks,
committees and working groups while delivering excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
Maintain project documentation, schedules, meeting coordination, budgets and invoice processing to support successful program deliver
What You'll Bring
Demonstrated experience in administration, project coordination, research, data analysis and reporting.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse range of stakeholders.
Experience interpreting data and presenting insights to support programs, initiatives and organisational decision making.
Demonstrated understanding of or passion for workplace culture, inclusion, diversity and wellbeing initiatives.
High level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with experience in Power BI and workforce data systems highly regarded.
Relevant experience and demonstrated competence in project delivery, planning and stakeholder engagement
