The Community Safety Policy and Programs Division (CSPP) provides strategic leadership and policy advice across community safety, justice, policing, security and emergency management.
Working collaboratively with government and community stakeholders, the Division delivers initiatives that enhance community safety, strengthen justice outcomes, support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities, and improve the ACT's resilience and emergency management capability.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced finance professional to join our team as Assistant Director, Senior Management Accountant.
Reporting to the Director, Governance, this position is responsible for leading the Division's financial management, budgeting, reporting and grant governance functions.
The role provides strategic financial advice and analysis to senior leaders, supporting informed decision-making,
solid financial governance and the effective delivery of divisional priorities.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
Relevant accounting or equivalent qualifications, or significant progress towards gaining them is highly desirable.
This position is a designated security assessed position.
The position holder must be eligible and suitable to obtain and hold an NV1 security clearance under the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency (AGSVA) as a mandatory qualification.
