About the position:
n
We are seeking a skilled HR Truck Driver to join our team based out of our purpose-built up-to-date facility in Gillman. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy rigid (HR) truck, transporting goods to various destinations while adhering to all road safety regulations.
n
You will ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods, maintain accurate records, and perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure safety and operational efficiency. This role is permanent full time- Monday to Friday. Shift start times may vary depending on the requirements of our valued customers.
What will you be doing:
n
n
Loading, unloading and transporting freight
n
Sorting freight into correct delivery runs
n
Interacting with our customers during deliveries and pickups, whilst maintaining a professional customer service standard
n
RF scanning
n
About you:
n
n
Current HR License (Heavy Rigid) – essential
n
Multi-Drop delivery experience (desirable, not mandatory)
n
Forklift license (desirable, not mandatory)
n
Excellent driver with excellent driving records.
n
Physically fit and passionate about what they do
n
Ability to work independently and follow schedules
n
Competency with use of modern equipment (Touch screens/scanners)
n
Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
n
Experienced in the transport industry, adaptable and reliable.
n
Good communication and customer service skills
n
Commitment to safety and compliance
n
