Underground Maintenance Technician
We currently have a great career opportunity for an experienced Underground Maintenance Technicianto join our team at Rosebery in Tasmania.
These positions will report into the Supervisor - Mine Maintenance and offered on a 7:7 roster including night shift.
Key Accountabilities
Conduct activities in line with the weekly maintenance schedules in order to achieve a baseline compliance
Through the process of conducting maintenance activities, identify opportunities to improve site-wide reliability of mobile and fixed assets
Support and improve the reliability and availability of mobile and fixed plant assets by participating in programs to identify root cause of failures and the implementation of improvements.
Assist in the development of requirements and specifications for work plans and schedules.
Fostering a culture of secure work practices and good housekeeping
Qualifications & Competencies
Trade qualified heavy diesel fitter/mechanic
To be successful, you will have an unwavering commitment to safe work practices, a team player with a strong motivation and passion to be part of our mining family at Rosebery.
Experience in diagnosing faults and repairing equipment according to OEM specifications
Experiencein the service and maintenance ofAD60 & 55B trucks, R**** loaders, Sandvik Jumbos and Cable bolter, Atlas Copco Simba and Cable Tec
A current driver'slicense.
Competency working with computers and Microsoft Office.
