is seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to join their team in Hervey Bay.
Responsibilities:
Work in collaboration with the Site Manager and Clinical Nurse to be primarily responsible for the Clinical Management of the Facility.
Focuson the clinical requirements set out under the Aged Care Act and the Aged Care Quality Standards.
Responsible for leading a team of clinical and care staff to ensure the highest levels of resident care and service, and to ensure that sound documentation systems are in place to effectively support the care needs of residents and the ACFI validation process.
Ensure that staff are well guided and acting in accordance with best practice.
Effectively communicate with residents and representatives, medical and allied health services and other service providers to ensure effective outcomes for residents.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
Current AHPRA Registration,



and at least 4 years' experience as a Clinical Nurse;
Demonstrated competence in nurse management, and a sound understanding of contemporary nursing theory and best practice;
Sound understanding of documentation requirements in accordance with Aged Care Quality Standards and ACFI;
Ability to undertake comprehensive clinical care assessments and ensure delivery of appropriate care;
A robust commitment to the provision of Quality Care in Aged Care, with good knowledge of dementia care and palliative care;
Excellent oral and written communication skills;
The ability to effectively lead a team and provide mentoring;
Competency and familiarity with use of clinical software.
NDIS Clearance, flu vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination, required.
An outstanding of circa $105k
