About the role
This is an ongoing role - Location: Melbourne CBD
The Workplace Relations Advisor provides sound advice and support on complex employee and industrial relations matters.
This includes managing cases involving performance, conduct, probation and all Reviews of Actions, while ensuring compliance with legislation, government policies and industrial agreements.
Has workplace relations and HR expertise, including performance management and enterprise agreement interpretation.
Applies sound judgement to employee matters, legislation, policies and industrial requirements.
Understands the VPS Review of Actions policy and the process.
Remains calm and qualified when managing sensitive issues and competing priorities.
Communicates and negotiates effectively with leaders, employees and key stakeholders.
Works collaboratively,



adapt to changing priorities and identify opportunities to improve processes and business outcomes.
Qualifications and experience
You'llbring:
A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field is desirable.
Experience in Workplace Relations and the Victorian Public Service is desirable.
