Full-time Temporary with a Possibility of Permanency
Details:
The Office of Industrial Relations and Workforce Strategy is looking to fill two leadership roles in the Public Sector Policy and Integrity Group.
To succeed in these roles, you will design and deliver programs that align with government priorities and support the ACTPS to meet its obligations and full potential.
You could work on key legislation that governs the ACTPS' operation or deliver key programs such as the annual graduate recruitment round.
You will be skilled in stakeholder relationship building and engagement and be able to adapt to emerging issues and priorities.

Eligibility/Other Requirements:
This position does not require a pre-employment medical.
Driver's Licence (Class C) is not essential.
This position does not require a Working with Vulnerable People Check.
Note:
There are two temporary positions available immediately for a period of three months with the possibility of extension up to 12 months and/or permanency.
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
Where an offer of employment is for a fixed-term period, any related temporary contracts within the Territory will be issued in compliance with the requirements and applicable exceptions outlined in the Fair Work Act.
This position is located in a workplace designated for activity-based working (ABW).
Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
Opportunities for flexible working options could include hybrid working, being a combination of working from home, designated office based and FlexiSpace working locations across the ACT, part-time hours, job-sharing, flexible start and finish times.
Note: Under the ACTPS employment framework you may be placed in another role where required for the productive administration of the service.
