Food TechnologyTeacher
to join our Secondary School team.
This positionis a
permanent, part-time (0.6 FTE)

The successfulcandidate will develop their students' understanding of nutrition,food preparation and safety while fostering in them an appreciationfor food and healthy living.

You will teach with purpose and conviction, sowing seeds of faith and learning that will shape lives for eternity.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Deliver Food Technology courses in line with SCSA standardsand relevant education frameworks, including planning,assessment, and reporting.
Design and deliver engaging practical and theory-basedlessons that build understanding of nutrition, foodpreparation, safety, and healthy living.
Differentiate teaching strategies to support diverselearners and collaborate on CAPs and ILPs with Learning Supportstaff.
Apply effective classroom management and contribute to asafe, positive, and productive learning setting grounded inChristian values.
Use a range of assessment strategies, maintain accuraterecords, and provide timely,
evidence-based feedback andreporting (including TASS requirements).
Contribute to student wellbeing, collaborate with staff,and actively participate in College life, including events andextracurricular activities.
Selection Criteria
Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Lord Jesus Christand is an active member of a Christian Church, living inaccordance with the Association's Statement of Faith, ChristianLifestyle Statement and Educational Objectives.
Committed to supporting and contributing to the Christianethos and values of the College.
Knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum andcurriculum differentiation practices.
Skilled in delivering engaging Food Technology learningexperiences, with a sound understanding of food safety,hygiene, and practical kitchen management.
Highly organised with strong classroom management skills,effective assessment practices, and communication andrelationship building skills.
Current Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia(TRBWA) registration and a valid Working with Children Check(WWCC) or willing to apply.
