Details:
Ready for a role where no two days are quite the same?
We are looking for a strategic thinker, skilled relationship-builder and natural connector to lead the Office of the Deputy Director-General (DDG), Setting, Planning and Policy.
As Executive Officer, you will be the trusted link between priorities, people and decisions.
You will provide high-level strategic and governance advice, identify emerging risks, oversee executive correspondence and briefings, manage a fast-moving workflow and ensure the Deputy Director-General is equipped to lead a broad and complex portfolio.
You will also guide and develop the DDG Executive Support Team, build productive relationships across government and introduce practical systems that make good work even better.
This role suits someone who can see the big picture while still spotting the missing attachment, who brings discretion and sound judgement to sensitive matters, and who remains composed when priorities compete for pole position.
Bring your initiative,
professionalism and energy.
We will bring the variety, challenge and opportunity to make a genuine impact.
Note:
A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months.
Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.
Note: Under the ACTPS employment framework you may be placed in another role where required for the efficient administration of the service.
The ACT public service is committed to closing the gap, underpinned by the belief that when Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people have a genuine say in the design and delivery of policies, programs and services that affect them, better life outcomes are achieved.
