In this role, you'll:
Be responsible for undertaking a range of maintenance support activities to support the section's line management and maintenance delivery staff in order to facilitate the effective and efficient delivery of scheduled works.
The Works Support Officer will also be responsible for:
Preparing and managing contract documentation, supporting tender processes, and assisting with contract administration.
Supporting and coordinating works delivery by preparing management plans, maintaining training records, coordinating training and assessments, responding to public enquiries, and conducting asset inspections.
Collecting, maintaining and analysing project and works data, and preparing reports to support management decision-making.
Providing administrative support and acting as a key point of contact for team members, suppliers, and customers.
Maintaining and improving Quality, WHS, and Environmental systems, supporting resource planning and procurement, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.




This is an ongoing full‐time role that can be located at either Coffs Harbour or Port Macquarie.
This is a frontline support role that provides critical operational and safety support to enable frontline teams to deliver essential services.
The position is based full-time at the designated depot/location, and hybrid working arrangements are not available.
We take the WH&S; and the management of fatigue of our employees seriously therefore to be successful in this role it is a requirement that you must reside within 75 kms driving distance from your identified Headquarters/depot.
Travel throughout the Mid North Coast region and working at locations away from home may also be necessary.
Allowances for working away from home and accommodation will apply.
In order to be successful in this role you will need to have strong problem solving and organisational skills with the ability to be flexible, meet deadlines within short time frames and to manage changing priorities.
You'll need to have well-developed interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders working in an onsite team environment, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and confident manner.




You have a demonstrated background in projects administration, and you are comfortable at providing a wide range of procedural and procurement support.
You have excellent attention to detail and are proficient in the use of both Excel and Asset Vision.
To be considered for this you it is essential that you possess a current motor vehicle driver licence and be available to work outside normal working hours and to travel on occasion.
