About the Opportunity
Haynes People currently have multiple positions available for experienced
2 nd Class Welders
with our valued client in
Acacia Ridge, Brisbane.

Hours
: Monday to Thursday:
7:00am – 3:00pm,
Friday
7:00am – 1:00pm
Pay Rate:
$46-$52/hr + penalties (depending on qualifications and experience)
Type
: Casual ongoing with potential to transition into a permanent role
What You'll be Doing
Perform welding using MIG, TIG and Stick welding processes
Fabricate, assemble and repair metal components and structures
Work from engineering drawings, fabrication plans and work orders
Weld and fabricate mild steel, stainless steel and other materials as required
Operate workshop equipment including grinders, drills and cutting tools
Conduct quality checks and inspections on completed work
Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area
Work collaboratively with production and workshop teams to achieve project deadlines
Adhere to all workplace health, safety and quality requirements
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience as a 2nd Class Welder
Current Driver's Licence (Manual Licence preferred)
Experience with MIG, TIG and Stick welding processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Strong fabrication and workshop experience
Forklift Licence and Construction White Card highly regarded
Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screen
