Reporting to the Station Manager, this position will suit someone who is practical, self-motivated and enjoys working independently in remote conditions.
While the primary focus is maintaining water infrastructure, you'll also lend a hand with general station duties when required.
An immediate start is available for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities & Duties:
Complete weekly bore runs and fortnightly bore inspections to ensure a reliable water supply for livestock.
Monitor water points using the Farmbot system and identify potential issues.
Report breakdowns, faults and maintenance requirements to the Station Manager.
Assist with general station duties as required to support day-to-day operations.
Selection Criteria:
Previous experience in a similar Bore Runner or station-based role, ideally within the cattle industry.
Ability to work independently, manage your time effectively and problem-solve in remote environments.
Practical mechanical aptitude with a proactive approach to identifying maintenance issues.
Reliable team player willing to assist with broader station operations when required.
Additional Particulars:
Single accommodation and all meals provided.
Competitive remuneration package based on experience.
Full-time, permanent station position.
