About the Role
We are looking for a commercially minded
Management Accountant
to join our growing finance team and play a key role in supporting informed business decision‐making across xAmplify. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working beyond traditional accounting functions and partnering with leaders across the business to drive financial performance, efficiency and growth.
Reporting into our CFO, you will be responsible for providing timely management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and commercial insights that help shape strategic decisions. As xAmplify continues to expand nationally, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to business improvement initiatives, support operational leaders and help strengthen our financial capability as we scale.
What You'll Do
Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports and performance dashboards
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities across business units




Provide variance analysis and commercial insights to support strategic decision-making
Partner with operational leaders to improve financial performance and accountability
Support cash flow management, financial modelling and business case development
Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems and reporting
What We're Looking For
Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (current and not in progress)
CA or CPA qualified
Experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or similar senior commercial finance role
Solid experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and management reporting
Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial management systems including Xero
Ability to translate complex financial information into practical business recommendations

Eligibility
Full Australian working rights, which can include citizenship, permanent residency or appropriate visa.
Location
This role can be based in either Canberra or Sydney and will operate in a hybrid model from our Canberra or Sydney office for a minimum of 3 days per week,



providing you with the opportunity to work from home 2 days a week. You may however need to attend the office additional days as required so some flexibility is needed at times.
Engagement Type
For this role we are seeking individuals wanting to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
Salary
For this role, we are offering a total remuneration base salary of $160,****** to $170,****** + Superannuation.
