We're looking for
experienced Soil & Concrete Testing Technicians
, as well as people looking to start a hands-on career in construction materials testing, to join our Dubbo team.
If you already have CMT experience, we're keen to hear what you can bring. If you're new to the industry, no problem — we'll provide the training and support to get you started.
This is a practical, hands-on role working with soil, concrete and other construction materials. You'll start by building your knowledge in the laboratory, with opportunities to develop into field-based testing and work across local construction and infrastructure projects.
What you'll be doing Depending on your experience, your day-to-day work may include
Testing soil, concrete and other construction materials
Preparing and processing samples in the laboratory
Operating specialised testing equipment and machinery
Recording results and entering information accurately into our systems
Manual handling, including lifting and moving samples
Maintaining testing equipment and work areas
Working to Australian Standards and company testing procedures
Undertaking field testing on construction sites as your experience develops
Communicating with clients, supervisors and other members of the team
Laboratory work can be repetitive and process-driven, while field work is more physical and gets you outdoors across different construction sites. Both are an key part of delivering accurate results for our clients.

, previous construction materials testing experience isn't essential. We're more interested in finding reliable people with the right attitude who are willing to learn.

Willingness to learn and follow testing procedures
Basic computer and numerical skills
Current Australian Driver Licence - manual preferred
White Card - preferred
Ability and willingness to undertake physical, hands-on work
Flexibility to work overtime when required
Valid Australian working rights with no restriction on full-time hours
