About the role
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a busy, hands-on role supporting multiple areas of the business, including Residential Sales, Commercial, Property Management, Concierge and Trust Accounting.
This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who has proven accounts administration experience, can confidently manage a high-volume workload and is capable of hitting the ground running with minimal training.
You will play a critical role in the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring the accurate processing of transactions, maintaining financial controls, supporting reporting requirements and providing backup support across specialist trust accounting functions.
Key responsibilities include
Processing a high volume of accounts payable transactions, managing approximately 600 to 700 supplier invoices per month.
Raising and processing accounts receivable invoices across various business divisions.
Managing banking transactions,
daily receipting and account allocations.
Completing bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and petty cash balancing.
Monitoring outstanding debtors and liaising with staff regarding collections.
Supporting salary payment authorisations and financial control processes.
Assisting with Sales Trust administration, including receipting, deposit releases and enquiry management.
Processing trust account transfers and preparing related invoices and reports.
Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and supporting audit requirements.
Maintaining fixed asset registers and resolving account discrepancies.
Coordinating supplier relationships and office services across multiple locations.
Providing administrative support across the broader business as required.
About you
Previous experience in a similar Accounts Administrator, Finance Officer or Bookkeeper role.
Strong accounts payable and accounts receivable experience.
Demonstrated experience managing high-volume transaction processing.
Must have robust experience using Xero .
Excellent reconciliation and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
The ability to prioritise competing deadlines and work autonomously.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
A proactive and flexible approach with a willingness to support various business functions.
Real estate, trust accounting or property industry experience will be highly regarded.
