Talent Attraction and Programs (TAP) Unit sits in the Recruitment and Deployment Division of Victoria Police.
The TAP Unit is responsible for attracting, engaging and developing prospective Police, Protective Services Officer Police Custody Officer and Victorian Public Service applicants across the short, medium and long term.
Over the next three years, Victoria Police will implement an organisational attraction strategy that will transform the way we connect with and support future talent by delivering strategic initiatives that build talent supply pipelines for the next generation of Victoria Police employees.
As the manager of TAP, you will play a pivotal role in developing and delivering strategic initiatives, whilst overseeing a multi-disciplinary team responsible for the day-to-day tasks of engaging and nurturing prospective applicants.
The responsibilities of the TAP unit, currently include:
Responding to prospective applicant enquires over the phone, via e-mail and in person.
Planning and delivering face-to-face and online engagement sessions to engage both prospective and existing applicants.
Attending career expos and community events to promote Victoria Police career opportunities and provide information to prospective applicants.
Designing, coordinating and managing pathway programs to build talent pipelines.
Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to support marketing campaign activity and drive awareness re a career in Victoria Police to prospective applicants.
About You:
The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:
Managerial level experience working in talent acquisition function either in a private or public sector setting.
Knowledge and experience in designing and delivering employment pathway programs.
Understanding of employer branding design principles and applicant trends.
Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and supports flexible working arrangements.
Further Information:
This position is located at Victoria Police Centre, 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
