Set within the beautifully restored Treasury Building of ****, the hotel features 509 guest rooms including 28 luxury suites, our award-winning Club InterContinental lounge and vibrant restaurants and bars.
We have an opportunity for a Luxury Reservations Associate to join our Reservations team.
Every exceptional stay begins long before a guest arrives. As a Luxury Reservations Associate, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, creating personalised experiences from the very first conversation and helping shape their stay before they even reach the hotel.
You will work with guests from around the world, providing thoughtful recommendations, managing reservations and ensuring every interaction reflects the warmth, sophistication and personalised service of InterContinental Sydney.

We have an opportunity for a Luxury Reservations Associate to join our Reservations team.
Every exceptional stay begins long before a guest arrives. As a Luxury Reservations Associate, you will be the first point of contact for many of our guests, creating personalised experiences from the very first conversation and helping shape their stay before they even reach the hotel.
You will work with guests from around the world, providing thoughtful recommendations, managing reservations and ensuring every interaction reflects the warmth, sophistication and personalised service of InterContinental Sydney.
Your day to day
Joining our Reservations team, you will:
Manage guest reservations and enquiries, providing warm, personalised and knowledgeable service.
Create tailored stays by understanding guest preferences, requirements and expectations.
Provide thoughtful recommendations across accommodation, dining and hotel experiences.
Handle reservations accurately across phone, email and other booking channels.
Build strong relationships with guests and travel partners, creating confidence from the first point of contact.
Work closely with Front Office and other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest journey from reservation through to arrival.
Support reservations through luxury travel programs including American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts and Virtuoso.




Identify opportunities to upsell and maximise room revenue while ensuring recommendations are genuine and guest-focused.
What we need from you
Previous hotel reservations experience within a luxury or premium hotel environment is essential.
A genuine passion for luxury hospitality and creating personalised guest experiences.
Excellent communication skills and confidence speaking with guests from a diverse range of backgrounds.
Strong attention to detail, organisation and accuracy.
Experience with Opera and/or Infrasys is highly regarded.
Knowledge of American Express Fine Hotels + Resorts, Virtuoso or similar luxury travel programs is advantageous.
Strong Microsoft Office skills.
A polished and professional approach suited to a luxury hotel environment.
Availability to work within our Reservations operating hours of 8:00am–6:00pm.
