Department Supplementary Position Description
Completion of tasks specified in the supplementary description of Human Resource functions.
Project Support
Assist with Human Resources related projects as required




Collaborate with team members to create project documentation, including project plans, communications, status reports, and presentation materials
Conduct research on Human Resources and Admin to gather relevant information and data needed for project decision‐making
Track project progress, milestones and budgets
Data Analysis
Collect and organise data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness
Use data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, data visualization software) to analyse trends, patterns, and key insights for reporting or tracking
Prepare reports and dashboards summarising data findings for departmental use
Collaborate to create process improvements and process optimisation within the Human Resources
department and wider business
Administrative Tasks
Prepare and manage Human Resources documentation in accordance with BSH compliance measure while ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Scheduling meetings and events, including sending invitations, reserving meeting rooms, and preparing meeting materials.
Support and develop Human Resources correspondence for
both internal and external recipients
Actively participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and offer support to colleagues
Actively participate in all BSH Student projects and collaboration sessions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Share knowledge and best practices with other Student Placement Program Participants to foster a culture of learning
Engage in team‐building activities and initiatives to




strengthen team cohesion and collaboration
General IT support
IT equipment set up and systems access for new users
Hardware and software support for employees based in Australia and New Zealand
General equipment maintenance
Health & Safety
Demonstrate commitment to health and safety through participation in formal and informal discussions, workplace visits, hazard inspections and risk assessments
Notify an incident or an injury promptly
Follow all Occupational Health & Safety policies and procedures
Participate in consultation as required and requested
Attend Health & Safety learning opportunities, briefings, seminars and trainings
Adhoc
Action any adhoc tasks as required and requested by the reporting manager

Desired Skills and Experience
Must have full working rights in Australia.
Currently studying and undertaking a placement as part of study.
Ability to build and maintain productive and positive relationships within a diverse environment.
Ability and willingness to seek information, apply context, and share knowledge.
High level of attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Proven written and verbal communication skills.
