AOD Client Outcome Facilitator
Pay: $***** per hour + shift loading + super
Location: Cairns
Employment Type: Perm PT shift-based
Tradewind Australia is partnering with a respected, well-known not-for-profit organisation to recruit a compassionate and driven Client Outcome Facilitator also known as a Alcohol and Other Drugs support worker.

About the Role
As a Client Outcome Facilitator, you will provide holistic, end-to-end case management, advocacy and practical support to clients engaged in the AOD program.
You'll walk alongside people at different stages of their journey - listening, supporting, problem-solving and helping them move toward greater independence and wellbeing.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, relationship-based work and real-world impact, while working within clear frameworks, policies and service agreements.

Key Responsibilities
Provide holistic, end-to-end case management and client support, tailored to individual needs across the client journey
Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments, including screening, risk assessment and safety planning where required
Develop,
implement and regularly review client-centered case management plans in line with organisational policies
Deliver practical and emotional support that builds confidence, life skills and independence
Provide advocacy, information and referral support, helping clients access services and strengthen community connections
Maintain accurate documentation and professional practice, contributing to a safe, compliant and high-quality service environment
What You'll Bring
Essential
Minimum Certificate III in Community Services or a related qualification
(or AOD tertiary qualification within drug and alcohol programs)
Experience in support work, case management or a similar community services role
A strong understanding of client-centered practice, risk management and confidentiality
Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
A genuine commitment to advocacy, dignity and respect for people experiencing disadvantage
Desirable
Experience working in community services, AOD, rehabilitation or aftercare settings
Confidence working within structured programs, policies and guidelines
A passion for working with people
