to join the Emergency Department at

This provides Emergency Medicine specialists with exposure to a broad range of clinical presentations and access to a diverse range of inpatient and specialist services.
The Opportunity Reporting to the
Clinical Director of the Emergency Department
, the Staff Specialist / VMO will:
Provide consultant-level clinical care to Emergency Department patients
Participate in the consultant on-call roster
Support optimal patient outcomes through high-quality assessment and management
Contribute to the education and training activities of the department
Work collaboratively with medical, nursing and allied health teams
Contribute to the ongoing development of emergency services within the hospital

About You The successful applicant will be an appropriately qualified
Emergency Medicine Specialist
with:
Fellowship of ACEM or equivalent specialist qualifications
Current or eligibility for registration with AHPRA
Demonstrated experience in Emergency Medicine
Ability to provide high-quality consultant-level clinical care
Commitment to education, training and multidisciplinary teamwork
Eligibility to work in Australia
Internationally trained Emergency Medicine specialists may also be considered, subject to Australian specialist recognition and registration requirements.
