About the role
Reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, you will work with Systems Engineers and colleagues across Marketing, Research and Product Development, and Operations to improve and sustain existing products.
You will contribute to product development and change activities while developing practical experience across requirements, risk, architecture and technical documentation.
What you'll be doing
Contribute to the technical ownership of products at a systems level.
Support sustaining and post-launch product development activities.
Analyse customer needs and help translate them into clear system requirements.
Contribute to requirements traceability, system architecture, workflows and interface documentation.
Help identify, assess and manage product risks, including hazard analysis and system FMEA activities.
Assess proposed design changes,



their impacts and associated implementation risks.
Support cross-functional teams and review technical documentation with a constructive, practical approach.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary research and development team to solve problems and improve products and processes.
About you
A bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Up to three years' relevant engineering experience - or an outstanding academic record, internship, project or extracurricular experience that demonstrates your potential as a recent graduate.
Strong analytical thinking and an ability to work through complex technical issues.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce concise documentation.
Positive judgement, initiative and the ability to prioritise based on urgency and impact.
A collaborative approach and confidence building relationships across disciplines.
A dependable work ethic, accountability and a willingness to learn.
