With over 600 employees, Occupational Therapists (OTs) work alongside communities to create lasting impact and improve health and wellbeing outcomes of Aboriginal people.
OTs are valued members of Congress, embedded across five diverse teams and connected through a strong network of approximately 10 OTs working collaboratively across the organisation.
Based in Alice Springs, these roles offer the unique opportunity to deliver occupational therapy services across Central Australia, including outreach to remote Aboriginal communities and diverse cultural settings.
OTs at Congress are part of a supportive professional network, with structured supervision, regular OT collaboration sessions and a gradual caseload transition to support success.

Working within a broad multi-disciplinary team including opportunities for inter-disciplinary learning and a bi-cultural pairing model with Aboriginal Allied-Health-Assistants.
Opportunities exist for early career and experienced clinicians to work within the following programs: Aged Care Therapy Services This multidisciplinary provides a mix of community outreach to the homes of older clients, as well as group activities including cooking group, exercise group and hydrotherapy.
Child and Youth Assessment and Treatment Service (CYATS) This multidisciplinary team undertakes neurodevelopmental diagnostic assessments and ongoing interventions for children and young people.
Head 2 Health Kids program This multidisciplinary team provides early intervention, mental health and wellbeing support to those under 12yo, and their families.
NDIS Therapy Services This multidisciplinary team supports NDIS participants to optimise independence and function within their personal, family and community roles.
Supportive team with low KPIs, and a focus on equitable therapy provision in remote Australia.
NDIS Remote Community Connector program This program works to identify eligible NDIS applicants, partnering with them and their families to complete NDIS access documents.
